Some practical Fluent information
As part of an interfaculty project
titled hydropower lens,
computational fluid dynamics simulations were done with Fluent.
Goal was to look at properties of waves created by several kinds of wave generators that convert
water height difference into waves.
Here are some things we learned while using Fluent. I hope it may be of help to some.
- A list of simulation-related links.
- Some notes on initial condition and animation.
- Short remarks on automation.
- Presentation on Fluent user meeting, May 2006, about multiphase VOF and automation, as
ppt or
pdf.
- gambit journal for making 1x1 box mesh
- sample wave movie, combining pressure
contours (solid colour), interface boundary (red line) and velocity vectors in one movie.
